Super grade cement based, organic (flexible) or alternative adhesive specified by the manufacture as suitable for bonding dense ceramic tiles to concrete slabs can be used. Standard grade cement based adhesives should not be used.
Cement mortar screeds with the tiles fixed using super grade cement based or flexible (organic) adhesives can also be used.
Liquid hard setting membranes are also available.
Johnson Tiles do not recommend direct fixing in cement mortar. If this method is to be used chemical bonding agents are required and separate advice should be sought.
